Anti-Corrosion Heat Shrinkable Sleeves For Pipelines
Insutek HPRS series of Heat Shrinkable Sleeve (3 LPE), is composed from radiation cross-linked polyethylene substrate and special hot-melt sealant compound, which is widely used in offshore and onshore girth weld Protection, buried and exposed steel pipelines.
Construction: Three-layer system
- Liquid epoxy primer
- High shear strength hot-melt polymer adhesive
- Radiation cross-linked polyethylene sheath with permanent change indicator.
Features:
- Excellent cathodic disbondment, water vapor permeability, chemical resistance and aging resistance
- Excellent adhesion performance, adhesion with the surface of steel pipeline
- Strong resistance to mechanical damage, bacteria, mold and chemical corrosion.
- Strong environmental adaptability

Sleeve length:
Length of PE shrink sleeves, The length should be calculated as the following formula: L=π×D×1.07+120mm (when pipe OD ≤42inch) L=π×D×1.07( when pipe OD >42inch)
Sleeve width:
We can also provide 450mm, 480mm, 500mm, 520mm and 550mm supplied PE shrink sleeves width upon request.
Primer thickness:
There are two kinds of primer application way, wet film and dry film. We can provide 120um, 150um, 200um, 300um and 400um primer thickness.
